Watching Macklemore and Ryan Lewis absolutely dominate the music world with no label for the past 2 months has been an awesome sight to witness. With 'Thrift Shop' now rocking in everyone's headphones and radios, I am shocked that we are just coming across a respectable remix to Macklemore's golden ticket to success. D.Shiggy and Mike Smiroldo just released this excellent trap remix that will melt your face right off. Purity Ring - Belispeak (PatrickReza Remix) [Dubstep]

Is it just me or is PatrickReza one of the best dubstep artists in the game right now. If you need more convincing then you must check out his newest remix to Belispeak by Purity Ring. The eeriness from the heavy rolling bass and swelling wobbles falls perfectly in line with other tracks Reza has presented us in the past. With 31K Facebook fans gain within the past year and a half, there is no doubt that PatrickReza is superior when it comes to producing phenomenal dubstep tracks. Oh yeah before I forget to mention, Reza is only 19 so expect to hear more from him in the future.

Figure - Battles and Castles Ft. Quel (Original Mix)

It may have took Figure 2 years to find the right artist for his 'Battles & Castles' instrumental but sitting on this was well worth the wait. Figure sent the instrumental to Quel who, in just 2 short days came back with a vintage video game love story written in the rap verses. The release of this track comes as perfect timing for Valentines Day, so naturally Figure dubs this a Valentinestep track.... nice play on words Figure.

Kendrick Lamar - Swimming Pools (Kayzo Remix)

I've been sitting on this remix for some time now because it seems like every other day there is a new Kendrick Lamar remix, but today we have the Kayzo remix to 'Swimming Pools'. This remix has something for everyone  You get a turbo mix for the first minute and a half until you are slapped in the face with a heavy trap/dubstep break. This may be a little more intense for you average remix listeners, but it deserves a respectable shout. Enjoy!

Sharkoffs - Shark Attack! (Glow Team Remix)

The trio that make up Glow Team are known for producing originals and remixes that have a catchy melody but could be moshed to at any given moment. With their take on Sharkoffs "Shark Attack!", Glow Team created a track that can definitely be moshed to as well as destroy an entire living room with just your two fists. The dark wobbles and bass also creates a feeling that a shark is lurking right behind you. Whatever feeling or sensation you get from this track, all that is important is that these guys know how to make heavy beats. Marina and the Diamonds - Lies (Zeds Dead Remix)

Zeds Dead is back with a wonderful remix to Marina and the Diamonds song Lies. The guys from Toronto did an excellent job adding heavy melodic bass lines and synths that compliment the vocals perfectly. The drop at the 1:50 mark instinctively had me bobbing my head at the exact mark of the drop, and from that moment on (or at least the past 40 minutes) I have not stopped. PatrickReza - Rockin Around The Christmas Tree

I tend to stay away from most Christmas remixes because they never seem to match the original's reputation. But PatrickReza has reworked a classic Christmas song into a full blown dubstep track. Reza is known for his incredible dubstep remixes, and for that he has gained a massive following. With his take on Rockin Around The Christmas Tree, he manages to to keep the Christmas hype down low and turns the bass and wobbles up to create a track that can easily be listened to outside of the Christmas season. Coldplay - Paradise (Modestep Cover)

Known for their unique take on dubstep and electronic music, the London-based group Modestep has reached the #1 spot on Hype Machine with their cover of Paradise by Coldplay. The cover was originally released to fans that pre-ordered their single Show Me A Sign but was just recently made available as a free download for the rest of us. The first time I listened to these guys was with their track Sunlight,which has a hilarious music video, and from then on I was hooked. Check these guys out, and be on the lookout for their debut album Evolution Theory on January 14th. Enjoy!
