Last month we introduced to you Case Arnold, the 21 year old emcee from Tennessee. We first heard of Arnold when he released the music video to The Moment where his dope and unique flow caught our attention. The old school sound and jazzy beat was refreshing in a genre that seems to be moving toward the EDM sound. With the release of his second mixtape The Myndstate, we hear more old school beats and Case Arnold's flow complements the beat perfectly. Mike Posner and King Chip linked up to create this simple, yet highly relate-able acoustic track titled Back Home. Posner's iconic vocals alongside King Chip's verse seems to bring together the whole meaning of being back home. Sure the parties are not as crazy and your local drunk muchie spot is not open till 3am, but seeing the family over the holidays and hanging with old friends seems to be just what we all needed. I tend to stay away from most Christmas remixes because they never seem to match the original's reputation. But PatrickReza has reworked a classic Christmas song into a full blown dubstep track. Reza is known for his incredible dubstep remixes, and for that he has gained a massive following. With his take on Rockin Around The Christmas Tree, he manages to to keep the Christmas hype down low and turns the bass and wobbles up to create a track that can easily be listened to outside of the Christmas season. Last week we introduced the 18 year old Swedish producer Deficio with his funky take on Beethoven's Für Elise. Coldplay - Paradise (Modestep Cover)

Known for their unique take on dubstep and electronic music, the London-based group Modestep has reached the #1 spot on Hype Machine with their cover of Paradise by Coldplay. The cover was originally released to fans that pre-ordered their single Show Me A Sign but was just recently made available as a free download for the rest of us. The first time I listened to these guys was with their track Sunlight,which has a hilarious music video, and from then on I was hooked. Check these guys out, and be on the lookout for their debut album Evolution Theory on January 14th. Enjoy!

M4SONIC - Virus

There are plenty of haters when it comes to DJs preforming "Live Shows", and I use the phrase live shows loosely. Last June, Deadmau5 spoke openly in his article We All Hit Play where he describes that anyone who can count to 4 can preform in a live EDM show. But looks like times are changing with the popularity of the Launchpad, which is bringing back the essence of a live performance. We have seen Madeon's impressive display with Pop Culture on the Launchpad, but today M4SONIC has raised the bar by using two Launchpads to preform an original track titled Virus. The amount of focus M4SONIC is incredible and definitely exempts himself from Deadmau5's statements.

Earlier this year I came across Chris "Trippz" Michaud with his track "Sturginity". After listening, I had to ask myself if I had been duped into thinking that this indie looking kid actually spit the lines I had just heard. Turns out that Trippz is legit, and today he released the lively track "Livin In the Moment".
