Rihanna Fr. Mikky Ekko - Stay (Erol Sabadosh Remix)

Something about Erol Sabadosh's remix to 'Stay' has me hooked and I have not been able to figure it out. It could be how he managed to add a synthy rhythm without veering to far from Rihanna's original version, which we tend to see with other remixes in the past. Or maybe 'Stay' is just one of those songs that cannot be butchered no matter how hard you try, although I seriously doubt that. Anyways grab the free download below and tell us what you think.

Here we have 'Clockwork', which is the second single and first video off YONAS' upcoming EP The Black Canvas. I've personally followed YONAS for a couple years now and I am pumped to see this NYC artist get the recognition he deserves. There is a connection between YONAS and his fans that is unlike any other.

(Story Time)
A few years back I went to a YONAS, Chiddy Bang, & The Deans List concert. Once the show ended, YONAS was the only musician who came out to spend time with his fans. He made it a point to converse with anyone and everyone. What surprised me the most talking with him was how humble and down to earth he was. So with that short story (and I promise that my side stories will not become a reoccurring event) you should go out and support YONAS when his EP 'The Black Canvas' is released this Monday. Enjoy!

Late last week we spoke with Ravi about his 'Reason' remix, and in conversation he gave us an inside scoop on his new original mix Deep Cover. He mentioned it would be huge, but god damn! This is EPIC! This should not have come to a surprise for me given that every track Ravi releases, whether it may be a remix or original, is on a level so far beyond any other up and coming producer. Hook N Sling & NERVO - Reason (Ravi Remix)

Coming strong off his '2012 End of The Year Mix' "So Close", Ravi just released his remix of "Reason" originally by Hook N Sling & NERVO. The track is currently entered in a remix contest hosted by TalentHouse but will eventually be available as a free download after the close of the contest. We caught up with Ravi to hear what his inspiration was behind his 'Reason' remix.
"I wanted to make something really melodic and progressive but at the same time pretty hard hitting, so for the drop I tried to make the bass as loud and raw as possible."
Ravi who once went by the name Sex Ray Vision, is no stranger to creating bangers like this. With a track record of over 50 originals and remixes, Ravi is one of the hardest working producers in the game right now. This may be Unlike Pluto's first time featured on this site, but it sure will not be his last. To be honest, what initially caught my attention was seeing that this was a Mumford & Sons remix, and from past experiences, I never could make it through a full listen to any Mumford remix. Looks like we have a funky one for you all tonight. Sweedish producer Deficio, takes a classical piece from god knows when, and turns it into this EDM gem. Make sure you give this one a chance since the funkiness does not kick in until the 45 second mark. Defiicio who is building his reputation as a serious producer also has a knack for taking uncharacteristic songs and re-inventing them into electro-house pieces as we saw last month with his rendition of Beethoven's Fur Elise. TheFatRat - TheRatNest January 2013

The last time we saw TheFatRat release a RatNest mix was back in October, however minutes ago he released his EDM Sauce Edition which features 18 tracks packed together all in one continuous mix (Track-list after the jump). The mix is to celebrate him reaching 25,000 Likes on his Facebook page, which is a great feat considering he began a little over a year ago. He also has an original track in the works called Hagrids Asshole (title subject to change) which can be previewed here.

C-ReX - Play Friends (C-ReX Bootleg)

A few months back C-ReX released a full album preview for Blue Mist on his SoundCloud account. The 13 track album loaded with bootlegs and remixes could easily fuel any party, but the last track on the album titled Play Friends was one of my personal favorites. The bootleg features Avicii and Nicky Romero's song I Could Be The One, but when you add C-ReX in the mix, this track evolves into an electro-house banger. Best of all, he just released the track as a free download. I know it's still only Wednesday, but the weekend is fast approaching. So grab this track and get your playlists ready.

Marina and the Diamonds - Lies (Zeds Dead Remix)

Zeds Dead is back with a wonderful remix to Marina and the Diamonds song Lies. The guys from Toronto did an excellent job adding heavy melodic bass lines and synths that compliment the vocals perfectly. The drop at the 1:50 mark instinctively had me bobbing my head at the exact mark of the drop, and from that moment on (or at least the past 40 minutes) I have not stopped. I am sure you have your own opinions with this track, so go ahead and give it a listen, and grab the free download below.

The first time I heard an A-1 track I was hooked, his flow is mesmerizing and his beats are quality and well produced. Determined to make a name for him self, this up and coming hip-hop artist hailing from San Fran, dropped an excellent video for his track Now You Do. Originally produced by the duo, Flosstradamus, the track samples Lana Del Rey's track Video Games. You can find and download Now You Do on A-1's new project titled The Thurl Tape. Lana Del Rey - Video Games (Sound Remedy Remix)

By now we've seen a fair share of Lana Del Rey remixes, but Sound Remedy has created a a gem with his take on Video Games. Based out of Chicago, the 24 year old producer has developed a strong following over the past 2 years with his unique take on traditional dance music. Putting music first and his finance career on the back-burner, SR is serious about making it with his musical life choice.
