Kid Cudi - Immortal
I'm a little late to share this track, but this past weekend Kid Cudi took to a new Soundcloud account and gave us a peak into his upcoming album Indicud out April 23. The track Immortal has not received much attention through major music industries like MTV and BET, but Cudi is still thriving off his dedicated fans. Following his own direction and not sticking with any particular genre, Cudi certainly has a us all on the edge of our seats as we wait for his third solo album to drop.

Pi Theory, the mad scientist behind this remix may have been the only one on this planet to think of such a combination that actually turned out to be a great remix. e-dubble's verses always impresses me and Pi Theory's manipulation and production is funky and fresh. If you are confused by moombahton, it is an emerging genre that pairs reggaeton with house music, and it has gained serious attention over the past couple months. We've seen plenty of Swedish House Mafia remixes in the past, but none like The Golden Pony's take on 'Don't Worry Child'. The duo that make up TGP did a great job dumbing down the EDM/Pop feel to the track and transformed it into a funky nu-disco jam. Newcomer mdnt (pronounced midnight) sure had a great welcoming to the music scene with his track 'Dreamcatcher'. The track already received much attention over the past 2 days, making one think that mdnt was a seasoned vet. What might have helped the track succeed as well as it has may be attributed to Jez Dior, who can be found spitting a dope verse in the middle of the confusion. Nick Checo - The Drunk Truth (Prod. By Moss Dub)
New Hampshire's own Nick Checo sent us this great track which I cannot take off repeat in order to concentrate writing his post. Anyways...The 22 year old singer songwriter has a Jack Johnson sound working for him and with the track being produced by his hometown friend Moss Dub, one may say there is some funk/reggae fusion in the mix. Regardless, this is track is quality and we are looking forward to hearing more from Nick Checo in the near future. Enjoy!

The guys describe this remix much like a plane crash, most likely because it is full of heavy drops and twists rocketing you back in time with a nu-disco sound. The guys do a great job vocading and chopping Ryan Tedder's vocals to sound barely audible yet pure and delightful. The track uses stems from the Avicii X You where 4,199 artists from around the world collaborated together to form a 7 minute song. Is it just me or is PatrickReza one of the best dubstep artists in the game right now. If you need more convincing then you must check out his newest remix to Belispeak by Purity Ring. The eeriness from the heavy rolling bass and swelling wobbles falls perfectly in line with other tracks Reza has presented us in the past. With 31K Facebook fans gain within the past year and a half, there is no doubt that PatrickReza is superior when it comes to producing phenomenal dubstep tracks. Oh yeah before I forget to mention, Reza is only 19 so expect to hear more from him in the future.

This remix is subtle compared to Candyland's original where you have a hard hitting beat, nonetheless this is a well done remix that spotlights Forche's vocals in an elegant light.

Radical Something member Big Red decided to amp up one of their songs by creating an awesome electronic remix to 'Say Yes'. Better yet, they accompanied the remix with great visuals from Big Red's iPhone showing the guys doing what they do best on their Be Easy Tour last fall. If you missed them on the Be Easy tour no worries, they are getting ready to kick off the start of the Radical Republic Tour. Check to see if they are coming to a city near you.

The Hood Internet - Zero Drum Thirty (Aesop Rock x Ohama)

The Hood Internet just came out with this great track mashing up Aesop Rock with Ohama. Being a huge fan of Aesop Rock unique rap flow, I found his lyrics from 'Zero Dark Thirty' to blend perfectly over Ohama's instrumental track 'The Drum'.
